I purchases the highest level 'warranty' and even paid the added for 'Commercial' use (even though my vehicle is not commercial), supposed to have the unlimited mileage, unlimited no deductible and yet, they have refused every claim I have submitted. Web site is deceiving, many MANY complaints registered with the BBB and none have been resolved to my knowledge.

Won't take NO for an answer

they have called almost everyday, night and early morning, I have told them to take my name and number off their list and was told "good luck with that" I have recalled their number and it isn't' even a Nationwide number they are spoofing numbers to get you to answer. I have blocked every time they call and it is always from a different number. so tired of their crap. no matter what you say they will call back. hope someone can get better result than i did. I have been called names by them, told off, and basically told that they hope I get something bad to happen. Not sure where to go from here. but i would never do business with them if they were the last company on earth. My warranty on my pickup is out, and I have chosen to keep it that way, as it will be fine. please do not do business with these people. or *** scammers, bottom feeders

NEVER EVER considering any warranties from these scam artists! I purchased a 4 year platinum plan (supposed to cover virtually anything) & despite copious full service records and multiple requests for repair remuneration, they refused to honor their commitments!

Nationwide Auto And Truck Warranties - Rv Warranty Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Purchased a plan for my RV and have had nothing but problems. Water heater tank ruptured denied as there was rust on water pipe connectors. It's a unit placed under the coach where weather and road can cause issues. Rust on pipe did not cause tank to leak. Air system 2units went out with bad compressors, denied until I would submit full records of all maintenance. Oil changes, etc. These are maintenance free ac units. Has nothing to do with oil changes. Rude when you call and have been told by a few dealers that they will not bill this company due to the hassles and denials. Wasted my money.

Bug you to death

Call constantly. Says to me "You don't even know who we are" I reply "Oh I know exactly who you are" I told him I would buy a new car before I would pay $3000 for nonsense. He told me "Good luck honey" (very professional) to which I replied "Okay honey". I know they will be calling again because this has gone on for months. They do not take "no" for an answer. Also, asking about how much mileage on car. I told him "none of your business".

I am at this moment researching them, I have a huge complaint, we have not purchased anything from them but they call multiple times a day , this evening my husband answered and was asking to be taken off their call list, the so called specialist called my husband a liar and made an obscene comment to him and then hung up. I have had it with the rudeness, the constant calling and scams! !

Received a great price from them on a 4 year deal on my rv. After reading their contract, and the posted reviews, I will not be signing on with them.

First paragraph of the contract says they will pay reasonable cost to repair a covered part.

I have been burned by CSI Care on the same wording. They determine what the reasonable cost is, not what the repair shop charges.

To all of our current and prospective clients, please be advised that although you see multiple listings here, the very first post is from a former disgruntled employee. Unfortunately, these sites are not monitored. Anyone can post anything! Nobody verifies the validity of the posts that are entered into the news feed. Even worse, nobody even has to reveal any true identity. Why she felt the need to act as though she was a customer or prospective customer is unknown.

Our former employee was terminated for goofing around on social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter, while on the clock. When everything was looked into, we found a few months worth of untouched work that was hidden away in her desk. As a result of this, her future commissions were held. She was very upset about it and got her revenge by fabricating false reviews and posting them on these websites that were originally designed to protect consumers.

Each of the remaining posts seen here are authored by the same person, Tee Stockton, whom was a true customer of ours. Why he felt the need to post the same story so many times is unknown.

There isn't a single company that has a perfect reputation, no matter what type of business it is. You also have people that do not read contracts before making the purchase and dealerships that offer the policy without reviewing the coverage with the customer. The biggest problems found in this industry are caused by pre-existing conditions. This is when people purchase a warranty to fix something that is already in need of repair. Every policy that exists excludes pre-existing conditions. In the amount of time we have been working with this company, we have dealt with over 50,000 people and have only a few who had a negative experience. Mostly due to not understanding the coverage and exactly how warranties work or even working with a repair shop that doesn't follow the Mitchells or All Data guidelines. Having a service contract protects consumers from being over-charged by these types of repair facilities.

We hope you can understand this and that it does not discourage you. As a broker, we do everything we can to make sure our customers get the service they expect and deserve. That is one of many reasons why we are the oldest broker of our kind in the nation. Others have been bought out at least once or went belly up. Our company is still owned and operated by the original founder. Please call 1-86*-***-**** to obtain a free, no obligation quote.

Peace of mind...turn into nightmare

I just experience the same problem with Nationwide Auto & Truck Warranties out of Litchfield Park Az.... We bought an extended warranty policies after our original went out.... in Aug 2011. We bought the policy thru Nationwide Auto & Truck Warranties. After 3 months and 3000 Plus miles. Our Engine light came on. We brought it to the Dealership and have them checked. off course, there were other up sale like p/s pump leak and some wiring. Anyway, it got Denied. We called and called. Finally, we talked to the guy name Jim. At first he going to sent a inspector down. But week went by and nothing. Then he told us to have a second opinion. So, We did by bringing to a different shop. He (joe) checked and couldn't fine any codes, p/s was so small that he couldn't pinpoint the problem. He told us to drive it until light came back on or leak, noise happen. then bring back in. So we did. After two plus month. The Check Engine Light never came back on but we saw a drop in the drive way. So we brought it back to (joe). He checked and confirmed that our p/s pump is leaking... He called and faxed all paper work into Nationwide Auto&Truck Warranties. Off course, It got Denied again. So we called in and talk to Jim. He Denied due to pre existing.. I said "OMG Are you kidding me?". He hung up on me. We called back but no answer. So, We called Stacie the sale rep.. She told us that someone else will call us back. Hour later someone did. But he wouldn't give us his name. i asked about 3 times. Anyway, after 15 minutes into the conversation I know that they are Not going to cover the repair. So I asked " is this a Scam or something"... He went off, calling me all kind of names. cussing me out..." you F ***, dumb *** Asian" making fun of my accent and all. I couldn't take it.... I told him" I wish he was in front of me talking like this" i was so pissed that if I know where the company is at? i would fly over and confronted the guy. I never experience anyone so Rude, Racial, Unprofessional Ever. He then told me that he going to Cancel my warranty affect now. Anyway, Be aware. I m filling a complain with BBB. and I will expose this outfit. Their number is...866-352-****, 602-241-****, 623-535-****.....(NATIONWIDE AUTO AND TRUCK WARRANTIES. P.O BOX 309 LITCHFIELD PARK,AZ 85340...BE AWARE. TEE

Please be advised that this customer has posted this story multiple times with the wording slightly changed. It may appear that there are multiple complaints from multiple people. Please refer to the “author” of the posts as they are all from “Tee Stockton”.

The events that occurred with this customer were caused by his own actions. The customer mentions that he purchased the policy in “Aug 2011 when my original policy expired”. He was over a year and a half out of factory warranty when he purchased the policy on 8/11/11. This customer purchased using a payment plan agreement in which he failed to adhere to. Per the terms and conditions of his payment plan agreement, if a payment can not be processed for any reason, on the monthly due date, the VSC will be in default and voided out. In January 2012, the billing did not go through. We made multiple attempts to contact him by both phone and email to collect the balance due. The customer failed to respond, forcing the contract to be cancelled per the terms and conditions of his payment plan agreement. In one of his posts, he says he is out $3,000.00 because he is stuck paying for the policy. That is not true. He paid his down payment plus 4 monthly payments.

The next contact from the customer was on 11/3/2011. The customer took the vehicle in for service on 11/2/2011. He spoke with his agent and had explained that the “check engine” light had come on. His agent then explained what the process would be, given the payment plan that he elected. His statement to his agent was that he would “wait to see what the repair costs”. The policy had been in force for less than 3 months and he had multiple items in need of repair. While the claims department was working with the customer on this claim, they had told him multiple times that he would need to contact the agent that he purchased the policy from to discuss an administrative issue, which was referring to his payment status.

Additionally, the customers repair facility told the claims manager that they had last seen his vehicle in 2008 when it had approximately 18,000 miles on it. The claims manager then requested maintenance records from the customer. They received 4 records dating from 2/5/08 to 6/15/11. On each record, he had exceeded the oil change requirements by both time and mileage. His claim was denied due to insufficient service history.

The next attempt to contact him was on January 16th,. We made multiple attempts to contact him by phone and email to inform him that we had difficulties collecting the payment for the month of January. He failed to respond.

Next, he took the vehicle in on 1/25/2012. The requested repairs were for the same exact issues that the vehicle had on 11/2/2011. He still had not satisfied the outstanding balance on the policy. He still had not paid the monthly payment that was due for January. The previous issues were never fixed.
